Balsam Hill, Not Doing The Right Thing! @balsamhill @oprah @TheEllenShow

Tree arrived last night. Light strands not working. When I contacted Balsam Hill Customer Service this morning, I was told I'd need to wait for replacement section to be shipped from China! Why don't they do the right thing and just replace the tree with a new one that works. That's what I paid for. For trees costing over $800, you would expect the company to stand behind them and attempt to keep customers satisfied.

Whoever runs customer service at Balsam Hill needs work for Zappos and learn a few things. Balsam Hill clearly doesn't understand the revenue-generative effect from outstanding customer service. Satisfied customers = repeat business and great word-of-mouth = even more business. Balsam Hill needs to do the right thing and replace broken trees now, not tell customers they will have to wait until after the holidays for replacement sections from China!

I also can't believe OPRAH and ELLEN endorse a company with such horrible customer service and one that treats their customers so poorly. If I were them, I sure wouldn't allow Balsam Hill to put my face and endorsement on their website.

I'm hoping that Balsam Hill steps up and does the right thing....making THIS Christmas merry and bright!
